CAD Designer at 120 Degreez MEP Engineering Firm. I was a CAD Designer working with clients (mostly Architects) designing receptacle and lighting layouts for various residential and commercial projects based on the CBC, NEC and NFPA. These projects ranged from high end residences (5000 sqft+) to large commercial buildings such as multi-use residential apartments (50k sqft+). Utilizing a combination of AutoCAD and Design Master Electrical Software I prepared construction documents for plan check and eventually for the electrical contractor. On a day to day basis I collaborated with a number of other trades such as Architects, Mechanical Engineers, Plumbing Engineers, Contractors and Plan Checkers to ensure all electrical loads are accounted for in the load calculations and laid out on the construction documents.

Project Lead, San Diego Mesa College Architecture Department. Created an outreach “kit” for prospective high school students. The objective of this kit was to inform high school students about the benefits of attending San Diego Mesa College to focus on Architecture before they transfer to a four year university. The kit includes: 2 custom designed 24” x 36” posters; 3D printed & laser cut “trinkets”; custom business cards; stickers and a USB Flash drive. Included on the flash drive was a four minute video showcasing Mesa College Architecture program that was directed, shot and edited by myself.

Was responsible for researching and designing products using computer-aided design software applications such as Fusion 360 and SolidWorks to design Lume Cube early prototype products and accessories. Testing durability and user friendliness of prototypes. Working with manufactures across the globe to bring products to market. Most recently, mounts to attach Lume Cubes to the DJI Mavic Pro Drone. Starting with multiple 3D printed design concepts to test flight ability, refine design, then working with the manufacturer to have parts injection molded. This mount is now sold at large online retailers such as B&H Photo as well as in stores; most notably Best Buy. With Lume Cube also being a small startup I was able to help with the creation of content as well, including both video and photo assets that are used across the Lume Cube website and social media.

Helping those with technical difficulties ranging from software malfunctions, usage related questions to hardware related issues, such as cracked displays. In this role I learned to deal with ambiguity, to remain customer focused and take initiative. The fast pace of the store helps me to adapt to store needs quickly, and pushes me to help customers fast and efficiently.

During my time at Butler, Shine, Stern and Partners I was tasked with a myriad of jobs which included, facilitating and organizing submissions to many award shows, generating storyboards for various advertisements using Adobe InDesign, generating compositions for advertisements based on descriptions with Adobe Photoshop, concepting ideas for new products, creating PowerPoint templates for client presentations, consulting on styles and different executions of advertisements as well as helping other art directors with various projects and providing input. I was put in charge of the re-branding for the charity Roots of Peace which included a full website overhaul. I had also been put in charge of social media posts for Zico coconut water on both Facebook and Instagram, which have amassed hundreds of likes each.
